Marketing borehole drilling companies in Gauteng - Finding the Water...
When we were approached to set up a website for this particular borehole drilling company in Gauteng, it was a bit of a challenge in terms of positioning. The client did not want to lose the origins of the company which had its roots in hiring portable toilets. The name was already established, but its original charter had shifted to drilling boreholes.
The solution was to incorporate the original brand name into a TLD (top level domain) that now described the new focus: drilling boreholes - and so we created a TLD like so: drillingboreholes.sirjonhire.co.za
A new logo design
The existing logo was purple (the client loves purple). Purple, while smilingly nodding to "royalty" as Sir Jon toilet hire (droll laughter) - did not seem to fit the current focus: potable water. We presented a purple version, but the blue won the day.
Sadly, we were not able to follow our long-term strategy to fruition since the client has moved to a new supplier. We wish them well and all the best.
